Meta Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: September 25, 2026

Use these instructions to disconnect Meta from Jamyaa or request deletion of information associated with your Meta connection.

Information associated with a Meta connection

When you connect a Meta advertising account, Jamyaa may retain:

  • your Meta user identifier and display name;
  • the selected advertising account's identifier, name, currency, and time zone;
  • granted permissions, token expiration, and connection history;
  • the Meta OAuth access token, encrypted at rest; and
  • campaign details such as objective, budget, currency, submission status, Meta account and campaign identifiers, errors, and timestamps.

This information is associated with the Jamyaa store where the connection was authorized.

Disconnect or revoke access

  1. An authorized store user can open the applicable Jamyaa advertising connection settings and choose Disconnect. This deletes Jamyaa's local connection record, including the encrypted access token.
  2. You can also remove Jamyaa from the connected apps or business integrations settings in your Meta account to revoke Meta-side access.

Disconnecting prevents Jamyaa from using that local connection. It does not automatically delete or stop campaigns already submitted to Meta. Manage those campaigns directly in Meta if you also want them changed or deleted.

Request deletion from Jamyaa

Email [email protected] with the subject Meta data deletion request. Include your Jamyaa username or account email and the store name so we can locate the connection. Never email an access token, password, application secret, or payment credential.

We may ask you to verify control of the Jamyaa account, store, or contact address. After verification, we will remove eligible Meta connection data and confirm completion or explain why specific information must be retained.

Information that may be retained

Jamyaa may retain limited campaign, transaction, consent, security, audit, or account records where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, security, or regulatory purposes. Retained records are no longer used to maintain an active Meta connection. Information held by Meta is governed by Meta's own systems and policies and must be managed with Meta directly.

For more information, read the Jamyaa Privacy Policy.
